Your details, kept simple.

This website is run by Mason Cowley, trading as mjc.studio, in Normanton, West Yorkshire. If you have a question about your data, email .

What I collect

Only what you send me. If you use the contact form, I receive your name, email address, business name (if you give it), what you’re looking for, your message and, if you used the mockup builder, the options you picked. The mockup builder itself sends nothing until you choose to send it.

Why, and what I do with it

I use your details to reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to plan and build your website. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before a possible contract, and my legitimate interest in answering enquiries about my work. I never sell your details or add you to a mailing list.

Who else handles it

How long I keep it

I keep enquiry emails for 12 months, so I can refer back to our conversation, then delete them. If you become a client, I keep what I need for the work and my business records for as long as the law requires.

If you’re unhappy with how I’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk (opens in a new tab).
